England has moved to Step 4 of the roadmap. However, Covid-19 remains a serious health risk. Government advice remains that "You should stay cautious to help protect yourself and others."
The Delta variant is the cause of almost all UK cases at present. The Delta variant has 1260 times the viral load of the original virus, making it much more easily transmissible through droplets and aerosols emitted when breathing and talking.
Given the length of therapy sessions (60 mins) the risk of transmission is relatively high, especially with Delta.
Independent SAGE has recently issued recommendations for workplaces, and I will be reviewing this, along with other data. Ventilation is a critical mitigation factor and will form a key part of safe reopening.
Sessions remain online only at the moment. This will be reviewed in the coming weeks, when we hope to have assessed ventilation.
